Ok heres my dilema. I have found posts of people being able to connect their Strobe but have problems transfering things. My Kyocera MPT will not detect my phone. I have updated to 3.7.01 also. It starts to run the thing to detect and freezes half way through. Then says I have to set up manually. So I go through and choose the Strobe Bluetooth, which is what I have, and finally try to connect to MPT. I never had any problems with motorlla's MPT. Any ideas on how to connect my phone.

Sometimes it wont connect all the way but when I press the buttons on the phone image on my computer and hit send with the mouse it dials the numbers on my phone. So im sure the cable is working properly. I am using this phone through metro-PCS. I am not certain as to how alltell works but this phone does NOT have any sim card. Perhaps there is some lock on my phone?

Well hours later and a few phone calls later I found out that my carrier has restricted thethering the phone to the computer. Another thing is that may contribute is that after installing he drivers it does not offer the jyocera as a modem. It is listed under ports as a kyocera modem but I cannot select it from the list of modems when MPT asks meto manually install. I even went to Kyocera and downloaded the correct drivers for my cable. Any suggestions on how to have the computer read this as a modem and not list it under ports. It says connected to com port 3. Which for some reason is where my Toshiba laptop modem is assigned. Should I try to switch the kyocers modem to a different com port? Again any help would be appreciated.
