Just got my k750 housing from cnn; missing bits?

Its my first purchase from cnn and i noticed that some bits were missing from the case that i bought.

The k750 back cover that i got did not come with a filter over the speakers. And i noticed that there were no screws that came with the middle chassis and that small pin used to hold phone straps is not there too. Are all products from cnn like that?

Thanks.

I order the entire CASE assembly (front, back, batt cover, middle cover, keyboard) since it was just a couple dollars more than just the back cover alone. Mine came with the screen over the speaker, and the pin for the handstrap.

Anyone else who ordered just the k750 back get the same thing...no screen over speaker? I just ordered mine. Just need to wait for my Nextel contract to be up before I get the w810

I ordered the whole set too but i guess i'm missing the pin and the filter.
I just emailed cnn about it, hopefully i will get it replaced.

PS. What does your form inlay look like? Does it cover the 3 front speaker holes?

i've ordered 3 full housings from them..none of them had the speaker and pin. i just reused my old ones. they also don't include the MIC filter which not many people notice.

the foam inlay covers 2 of the three holes just like an oem inlay. the only difference is that the original housing has a SECOND mesh betweeen the housing and inlay so you dont see the hole when you look at it from the front

Okay so I was finally able to pry open my front plate.
Well comparing my OEM w800's front and the k750 that i just got,
you are right, the OEM has a very fine mesh covering the three front speaker holes but the k750 one doesn't. Also the foam inlay that came with my k750 seems to be roughly done, seeing a rough triangle cut out for the holes for the speaker. Mine covers 1/3 holes.
Its weird because the foam's size could be covering the 3 speaker holes, but it's placement behind the lens was designed shifted towards the left and only covering one of the holes

With out the filters for the front, and the speakers on the back, will it do any harm to the internals over time? I'm more worried about the back because the holes are much larger.

it shouldn't cause any damage since there's nothing pointy in your ear which would poke inside the hole lol. you might have a little bit of dust which might get inside the hole though

I got mine last week, didn't ship with anything, and the quality of my cover sucks. I emailed CNN with no reply as of yet.

CNN seems to have horrible customer service. I made an order for the back housing and T6 screw driver, I didn't receive the screw driver. I've emailed them twice, but still haven't gotten an answer!

I hear it takes about 3-4days for an email reply.
I was kind of hoping for a replacement because i really want a mesh covering my speaker grill, but I doubt he will though.
