I see a clearing to my work, which is literally just a few yards away. I glance to the left to see a car, a blue honda civic about 75-100 feet away making a left to get into my area. I think to myself that it's a good distance away and proceed to cross. Now, it's at this moment I see God. He's a miracle worker of sorts. Going from place to place. Making right what was once wrong, hoping that with each leap, is the leap home. I see the sky, in it's blue brilliance. And then get knocked on down and fall on my side. My treo 650, in an equal display of brilliance falls down by my side, like a faithful steed with it's master. The world is shaking now and my body refuses to respond. I try and ascertain what happened and see that I'm now a few feet back from where I was standing and my ID and badge are now nestled comfortable away from me and my faithful treo 650. Now, a kindly elderly old man, whom I percieve as death, comes out of his frightening, smoke breaking 98 honda civic, and asks me if I'm all right and I need an ambulance. Wearily, I lie down again look at the sky and calmly check to see if my reproductive organs are still connected to their owner. And with the image of my future children enblazened across my retina's I breathe a sigh of relief as I can still see their smiling faces, and feel my reproductive organs are still intact. I looked at the elderly man now, the grim reaper who introduced himself later as Milton, and I heard him say numerous times, "Should I call an ambulance?" or "Is there anything I can do for you?" and after calmly thinking, still shaking and riddled with fear I replied, "If you're ever going to get a phone or phones, please buy them from me." So, this is why my forum activity dropped~ I was thrown 3-4 feet after being hit by a car going 10-15 mph and after crawling to work and getting a friend to pick me up, was sent to the emergency room so I could undress myself, to amaze both doctors and nurses.....at my injuries, and to calm down my girlfriend and spread the wonderful stories of every leap jesus makes. I'm fine, recuperating slowly. But before I end this, I just have to say 2 things: My trusty treo is fine after a hard reset. and....... God it hurts. |
