I currently have an 8125 that i use for everything. How ever now that i am back in school is there any way i can take my data connect unlimited plan and put it on a PC Card and use it as well on my phone?

You can use your 8125 SIM in the data card. But you obviously can't use both devices at the same time. Just move the SIM between the card and phone and it will work.
Or were you looking for a way to be able to talk on the 8125 while you're using the data card? If that's the case then basically no, it would be two different SIMs.

You can tether your 8125 to your laptop over Bluetooth. If you do not have Bluetooth built in the laptop you can buy a Bluetooth adapter or tether over USB. Using voice and data at the same time is not an option no matter how you do it.
I wonder if HSDPA supports simultaneous voice and data.

HSDPA does support simultaneous voice and data. Weather or not the devices and/or cingular will allow it to happen is a good quesiton.
Oddly, the HSDPA Sierra wireless card that I have from Cingular has the voice feature disabled (boo.)

On Ebay you can get an HSDPA card like the Sierra Wireless Aircard 860 for $120. The seller is sunsunsun and they always have some. The 860 does HSDPA as well as slower EDGE, so it covers all of the bases.
The Sony Ericsson GC83 is EDGE only, it's also excellent. But it's the same price.
You can also get the Option GT Max. I don't know which is better, the Option GT or the 860, but those are the two Cingular sells. There might be others that will work as well, but I'm not sure what they are right now.
If you can get an EDGE only card for cheaper like the GC83, that might be a way to go if you don't have HSDPA where you go to school. But if it's not cheaper then you might as well get the HSDPA card as it does all of them.
So try ebay for the two that are listed in Cingular's site. I got the 860 from sunsunsun for $120 "Buy it now." A year before that I got the GC83 from him as well. I got the 860 to upgrade to 3G.
I don't know if you can get one any cheaper unless you get one used in an auction.
Of course you an always just get the cable or a bluetooth adapter for your computer and tether through your phone as a modem using PDANet at http://www.junefabrics.com/

I used to have the GC82 - then the GC83 and now have the AC860. I thought it was working well till I was in my car this past weekend driving from NC to Ohio. My son had his Novatel 3G card in his laptop. When I had one bar he was 2-3 bars stronger. There were times I had no signal and he was solid with a strong signal.
The AC860 works well - but it seems the signal strength is not as good as the Novatel.

I can't seem to find the Novatel Merlin U730 for sale anywhere. Yeah I'm not convinced the 860 is the best but it's working just fine for me and I get good speeds. I even bought an external antenna for it to try to get a better signal since 3G coverage is so spotty.
Thanks for your experience.

Last time I was up in Maine I left my Wilson signal booster in my wife's car. I want to see if it makes a difference in 3G signal strength with the AC860.
