6700 ringing issue

I dont' know if anybody else here experiences this problem. I remember reading something about it before I got my phone, but I tried calling my phone from another phone (also sprint service). It dials twice before I began to hear my ringtone/vibrate. Anyone know why this is the case or point me to a thread that discusses this issue. It's not a big deal for me, but it might cause me to miss calls and stuff. Note that I have the latest rom version.

Verizon instructions a little lower on the page. The instructions are a little off. Mine was set to 2 instead of 1. I set it to 0.
Also befor ethe code comes up you have to click edit first on my xv6700.
