Show caller ID when not in address book.

I've been really bothered lately when someone calls me, and all my Blackberry 7250 shows me is the phone number. I understand that if someone in my address book calls me, their info shows up on the screen. Is there a way to make that happen for everyone that calls me? It seems strange that a $20 Wal-Mart device would show me the caller ID, but not a several-hundred-dollar phone.

Not yet. I don't believe there is a cell phone yet that will display for any number coming in from a person that is not in your address book. I could be wrong, but I have yet to see one, several dollars or several hundred dollars.

I do not think you will find a $20 or even $500 Wlamart Phone that will show you the callers info if not in your phonebook. Cell phones are not like you land line where you can get caller ID, yet.

Also caller ID is not given due to the phone and how much it costs, it is a network feature

The only carrier that I'm aware of that supports "name display" caller ID is Rogers Wireless (Canada). And as mentioned above, this is a carrier-dependent feature--its not missing due to a device shortcoming.

Just do what I do...

Don't answer, if they don't leave a message, copy the number, input into berry411 and run a reverse on it.
