What exactly do I need to make my own ringtones on a Fusic?

I want 100% free capability to make my own ringtones out of my MP3's I have. What software, cables, tricks? I know nothing on the Fusic, just got it last week.

you can upload MP3's for your ringer using this site
www.mp3ringtones4u.com but I think the files have to be under 2MB

Do you have any Wave editor on your PC? If you do open a MP3 and edit the song down to what you want to use, then "Save as" a MP3 and name it, then upload it using the above site.

I have Audacity but, I don't know what or how I'm supposed to save the mp'3 as. I can edit it down to the song part I want but that's all I know. Is it supposed to be a certain Mhz, 8-bit mono or anything like that?

I'll check what my settings are when I get home, I think when you "save as" you can choose what type of file to save as (.wav, .mp3, etc)

Save a couple different ones (name it different each time) and listen to the quaility of each.

I'm not sure, you can move them to your phone but I'm not sure how to get the phone to recognize them as a ringer.

Cool, I got it figured out for the most part. Thanks a lot. I have to find the mp3 codec for Audacity and download it so I can cut mp3 ringers and save them.
