Problems with Mobile Phone Tools

Please help, the search function isn't working very well on this site and I really want to get MPT up and running. I have a KX160 Xcursion and installed the updates. It is unable to communicate with the phone and I am really getting frustrated. I have tried switch USB ports with still no luck. It appears to see the phone, it just wont allow me to transfer any files. Any other tips?

well i noticed when mobile phone tools was installing on mine, it disconnected the bluetooth and installed it's own drivers for it. took a loooong loooong time to finish the install, 3300 mehgzt p4 with 2 gigs dual channel here. running a msi star key 2 on this one, works great with the tools. it did seem to have a lil trouble at first findinbg the right com port, the program did.running on a remix kx5.
