SLVR L2 battery problem

I dont know if there was another thread on this, I couldnt seem to find one, but I just bought an L2 from fido, and its two days old, and the battery lasts 1 whole day, i turn it off and charge it all night, when i wake up it says charge complete, so i dont think it charges itself once it says charge complete, and then by nighttime again, the battery is completely dead, the phone shuts off, is this normal, or is it a problem, or is there a way to fix it.

when you first got it, did you remember to first charge the battery for up to 12 hours?? Once you do that, you shouldn't have to charge the battery for more than 4 hours each time you charge.

I'd probably try to get another battery or at least a higher mah rated battery.

take it to the Fido Flag in Montreal if your within the 15 days. if they cant fix it, they will replace it.

So i went to fido today, and they told me that its normal for that phone to last a day, so i traded it in for a razr. Now what i want to know is if they just said that so i would buy a razr (100$ more) or are they serious? Or was it my phone thats defective.
