Hi, It looks like the rebate form for Cingulars version of the TyTN will require PDANet be activated. I'm concerned that Cingular may require PDANet for it's branded PDA's in the future. As a result, I'm thinking of just buying a TyTN online. Can anyone suggest a good, reputable store, which won't hassle if there is a problem with the phone?

MMB, SMG, PhoneSourceUSA are some good options .. Though they can only support you for a couple of weeks (in case you need to replace your TyTN due to some issue) .. Something longer and you are looking at sending your phone to HTC Germany for repair ..

i'd go with smart-mobile-gadgets because they used to claim they were the only authorized HTC reseller in America(with US warranty), but then i read something aobut HTC devices bought from them are coverd by HTC USA. I've been meaning to email them and ask but haven't gotten around to it.

Confirmed from SMG that faulty TyTNs will still be sent to Germany for repairs ... HTC repair in US is just an urban myth.
