Will phone ring while using UMTS on TyTn or 8525?

It has been shown that when using Gprs on SX66 and Edge on 8125 that [phone calls automatically go to voicemail if data is actively working. Calls will only go through when the page has finished loading.
Is this the same with the new 3G ppc??

it shouldnt because the new UMTS allows voice and data at the same time.

exactly and so does edge they provisioned totally differently unlike verizon

Are you sure regarding Edge?? Edge is Enhanced Data rate for GSM Evolution or just Enhanced GPRS .. it's a data standard, overlay on the GSM networks .. unlike UMTS/HSDPA which is based on WCDMA..

No on Edge or GSM and Voice at the EXACT same time.(But No,,only when directly accessing Edge..It is technically possible, but requires a different radio class, which most phones do not use)..Yes, on UTMS/HSDPA
