Thats interesting...Does it mean all the SCH CDMA phones from Samsung are from verizon only? Because I have seen some device which are SCH but are alltel or metroPCS.

Can you help me understand whats the relation between SCH and operators? Because I see some SPH devices also...

I want a way through which I can access the pictures and sounds on Samsung A870? I want to know the location in the device where the pictures are stored, like some devices store images in "brew/mod/10888" similarly what would be the location on A870.

Also I am unable to get the testmode working on A870, is there a way to enable the test mode on Samsung A870?

This is pretty urgent, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, alltel and MEtro PCS use the same technology as verizon, also Cricket does too

Whats the technology,Can u name it for me if u have some info on it... I am really keen to understand whats technology difference between SCH and SPH, does it have to do with band or the platform itself?

SCH and SPH are just series labels that Samsung just happens to use. Their SCH phones are all CDMA and their SPH phones are all GSM/UMTS.
