ok,

I've spent hours and hours reading posts and how-tos in hopes of never having this problem:

I did the following seem edits to my v635 (Stock Rogers item):

004e-0001
Offest 412
changed to 28h

(from what I understand, this gives me 10mb of recording...I got bored after 4 mins (5.5mb) and hit stop, so I guess it works since it used to stop at around 4.95mb)

0050_001/0051_0001
Offset 8F change to 14
Offset 93 changed to 14

(from what I understood, this gave me an increase caller list- it did NOT WORK for me)

NOW, the problems:

I HAVE LOST MY SMS MESSAGE access!! I DON'T HAVE my "Messages" icon anymore! (If I receive a text, everything is ok; but once it's read, I can't access my messages)

ALSO,

when I go to multimedia, I HAVE LOST MY MOTOMIXER!!

ALSO,

In my MAIN MENU, I used to have ICONS, now it's LIST, and even if I choose "ICONS" I still only get a LIST VIEW

**UPDATE**

I continued looking down the list on xlr8's page with all the seem table stuff and thought I came across a cool mod:

I then went ahead with:
0032_0001
Offset 8A Bit 1

(from what I understood, this gave me the option to pause/resume video- IT DID NOT work for me) AND AFTER DOING THIS I LOST MY VIDEO CAM COMPLETELY NOW!! I went back and changed it back to how it was, (bit1 off) but it did nothing.

Am I forever screwed?

So, to recap:
no menu icons
no messages access
no motomixer
no video camera

I think some will say either reflash it with a monsterpack or try finding the original flex for your phone. Since I've never done either, I wouldn't know where to point you to where you could find such files.

Flashing it would definatelly get you back on your feet. Theres a website called mobile-files.com that has pretty much everything you need. You will need to sign up for it, but it pays off in the end. Most of the people there that supply the files work for the Manufacturers and have access to these files. Its pretty cool.
