for anyone interested to make wallpapers for the GX32, just resize them to 240(W)x320(H). there are so many free desktop wallpapers on the net to grab, just use an image/photo editor, select the portion of the image you want to cut, resize it, that's it!

i use google to search for "fantasy wallpaper", for example, and voila! tons to select from.

my favorite is the fantasy category, mainly because they are so cool and colorful.

hope to see some postings from other hofo members.

cant we have like gals at all as walpapers to post? like these are nice but none really are that appealing to me. i dont mean nude stuff, just gals in general. cause if its possible i got a couple. oh btw u guys got any car ones?

here are some car wallpapers. the only problem with them is that they're configured best in landscape mode, otherwise the images become too small to appreciate in portrait mode. hope you don't mind.

suggest you join a free image-hosting website to post your pictures, then paste the image link here so you can have the preview. i am using www.photobucket.com but there are also many other hood ones out there.

Also if you're looking for webhosting, usually your ISP gives you free space as well. That's what I use.

the only way to post images with preview here is to join some free image-hosting website. once you have uploaded your pics there, just put the link here (using the IMG button).

i am using www.photobucket.com. it's really a nice free site to join because they provide fast connection, and they do not impose daily upload limits like others do.

hope this helps. looking forward to see your wallpapers here!

Also taking pictures of Windows Media Players visualizations can make very interesting backrounds. Make sure you only take a picture of the visualization not the whole monitor.

tried out a couple of animated gifs, but they were not as smooth as they were on the pc, and turned out to be quite jerky in fact. animated gifs also do not have enough resolution for the GX30/32's large LCD screen.

maybe i'm wrong and somebody out there may have done it properly? maybe they can share some info on this. altenatively you can use java wallpapers, but then you would have to connect and download (aaaarrrggg! and spend more money!).

another thing - animated wallpapers can contribute to the drain the phone's battery, because they require more processing power. this is similar to running animation on a laptop on batteries.
