disouki,
Nope, the s55 will not currently work with iSync. I think I read somewhere that you can use bluetooth file exchange to drag and drop vcards to the phone - not sure about calendar events. Go to the discussions area under Apple's support page and check out the iSync section. I think there's a bit of s55 info in there. Also, in the thread molna linked to I posted a couple of links to some mac (osX) shareware that might be useful. Part of the reason I went with ATT and the s46 is so I could have the option of putting my SIM into a cool new GSM phone as they become available (and as coverage improves). I've got my eye on the s55.

I have sucessfully installed software into a mac... no errors yet all seems smooth. Will keep all updated as to any errors so anyone else attempting it doesn't make the same mistakes

Synncere,
do you mind giving a little more info? What software have you installed? What are you able to do with it (address book, calendar, logos)? Also, what's your setup - os9 or osX? and are you using bluetooth, irda, or a data cable? Sorry for all of the questions, but there isn't a whole lot of Mac info aout there when it comes to the siemens phones.
BTW, I use a 5550mhz TiPowerbook and a new dual 1.25 Ghz powermac - both with osX 10.2.4. I use irda to connect my s46 to the powerbook.

Andy I am using an OsX at work. I brought the cables and all with me. I am gonna try to set up address book and all on lunch. I also wanna try the BT and IRDA. I have had trouble with IRDA on my laptop and my pocket PC....I will keep you posted as to my results. I just installed the shareware.

@ Molna... I went to the site which you made a link for
http://www.idexpress.fi/en/gsm/simexpress.html
just tried sending an sms with it but not working... have you used this software before? If so any tips? I am more of a windows person than Mac so I am not too familiar on how to tweek and configure the settings

link - hope it works..
here's a quote:
Yesterday on the German TV show "Neues" on "3.sat" Holger Niederländer from Apple Germany presenting the new PowerBooks was asked by someone in the live chat when the Siemens S55 would be supported by iSync.
He replied saying that the Apple guy in Paris working on this with Siemens says that it's looking really good so far.
He promised that the next update of iSync (or the one after) should include support for the S55...
We'll see if this pans out.
