Smartphone i320 QVGA Screen Rotation

Anyone know if its possible to choose which apps are launched in Landscape mode or not? I have an i320 and when I launch certain applications -- like Concrete Software's No Limit Poker the program launches in Landscape -- most of the time. For some reason every blue moon the app launches in portrait. I wish it would always launch that way. Anyone know what might be causing this?
