I need some help please. I cannot find the option to do this.

I uploaded some sounds to "My Sounds" folder on the device using Active Sync. When I go to Phone, I can see the sounds i imported and can set it to ringtones.

I also downloaded a "you've got mail" sound clip to use for receiving msgs. But when I go to set it. I cannot find the sound. I only see the default ones that came w/ the phone?

I guess the quetsion would be, Is it possible to change the sound for receiving new email and messages. If so, where would I need to place the sound files.

thank you.

Put the wav files in the the \Windows folder.
Then you'll be able to assign them to the events.

thank you for that.

now I'm stumped. How can I get to the /windows folder?
when using Active Sync, I see other folders, but not windows.

I also have another question. I've set the notification for missed call to pop up a mesage. But I'm not getting it. When someone calls, and I miss the call. Afterward, I look at the main screen, I do not see any notification of missed calls.

thanks.

the windows folder is there. You need click inside of one of those items.
There should be one that has a different icon than the other folders. Might be labeled "my device".
\Windows will be in there.

Sorry I went through all the folders including the one w/ the "different" icon. but still can't see the WINDOWS folder anywhere

A picture of what "Explore" brings up when I click it in Active Sync.
