New member here! looks like a great site!

Have a question about internet browsers on my Alltel ppc6700. I see on a post here that Opera has a browser that will let you veiw almost all web sites and is java enabled.

Can you tell me if this program will work with Alltel's firmware on this phone/pc?

I can not see where my piticular model is listed, this is why I ask.

Also is there a better browser to use with my phone?

just to let ya know i went ahead and downloaded Opera and its working great,

I would highly recommend.

I experienced the same pocess a short while back, and similarly went ahead and downloaded the version for WM5 even though my phone was not listed. Hooked ever since and enjoying the richness of the mobile version even as I type this out

WHat version of Opera do I download? I have VX6700 with MS5.

Opera 8.60u1 for Windows Mobile 5.0

This version can also be used with other Pocket PC phones running Windows Mobile 5.0.

I found these four options on Opera's web apge.....

Choose the device:

1. All devices (CAB)

2. All devices (MSI)

3. Certified for Verizon (CAB)

4. Certified for Verizon (MSI)
