I’m having a problem with blackberry connect. Actually I’m not sure if it is a blackberry issue or the way I use email. An example is I don’t delete messages, I move them to another folder within outlook. What is happening is that on the blackberry connect client my messages never get removed. From what I can tell is, that blackberry requires you delete a message (and empty deleted items) before it updates on the hand held.

Does anyone else have this issue, or know a work around. I do wish that goodlink was supported on my device as I think their software blows blackberry away.

I am using Blackberry Connect on 9300 (BIS) with T-Mobile in U.S. I also use the email client to retreive messages from gmail and earthlink servers. I do not have any problems with receiving (or sending) blackberry messages, regardless if I've deleted previously blackberry messages. Usually, I have maybe 10 or so "old" blackberry messages in my blackberry inbox.

Are you using the Blackberry connect to retrieve exchange from an enterprise server? If so, try this and let me know what happens. Send an email to your exchange account and make sure it gets to the 9300. Then using outlook move the mail from the inbox to another folder. Does it ever get removed from the 9300?

I am not using the BlackBerry Enterprise Service--I'm using BlackBerry Internet Service. Sorry I can't help you with your request.
