Question for w810 owners...

I've read that there is little difference between this phone and the w600i...which I have now.

When receiving an incoming call..does the w810 still display the phone number digits all together??..instead of having the seperating dashes??

ex.. on my previous V3.. 1-413-777-8888 would be displayed... instead of 14137778888 . This is my major annoyance with my w600i...

That is the way SE does it. Always has always will.

This phone is better then the W600i. Better camera, memory expandable, better microphone, better form factor.

Yeah, mine does it too. Motorola does it with dashes...SE does it without, I guess. Doesn't bother me at all. I got the SE because I wanted something different...and it is. That's not a bad thing...

I have two friends who have both phones. W600i owner likes his way more then the w810 owner.

The earpiece volume is horrible on the w810!

Not on all of them. Mine is fine.
I like the w810i better for many reasons but especially if I have it plugged into the car charger and I get a call, I don't have to open it. The 600 when opened and plugged into the car charger has the cord coming from the top which is awkward to use because it's pulling the top of the phone away from you.

I have to agree that generally, the W810i has a big earpiece volume issue. I got the phone a week ago, and after two exchanges and trying several different phones, have finally found one I can live with. Still not good, but useable.

But earpiece volume is subjective. Some folks have better hearing capability than others...

If u want a better camera, and more memory and a brighter screen go with the w810, if u are happy with a louder external speaker, swivel design and basically same functions stay with the w600.

I also want to add there isnt much differences in all models that come up that are the so called newer model,ex: 6620 and 6682, i liked the 6682 better for 2 reasons, better design and camera, aside from that the 6620 has more ram no memory issues, can add more programs and games on the 6682 because of the memory issues on 6682, bottom line is if u want a newer version of the phone u have with some enhancements go for it, as long as the price is right

When you punch in a number it does that? My T637 didn't. Of course once it dials and it is connecting it did that but not while dialing, in the address book, or any time else.
