I'm ready to buy, and all I need to know, is where is the best place to buy with no plan (I already have a t-mobile plan and will just be adding the $30 blackberry data plan). So far, I keep coming back to Ebay. The prices seem to all be the same. Is that true? Anyone have a recommendation for a e-store?

Why not just buy the BB from T-Mo? Wouldn't need to be unlocked.

Just got a new 8700g from ebay to replace my 1 yr old Treo 650. Had to switch from old VPN plan to BIS. No contract extension. The service was up in less than 5 min. Even got the $6 insurance.

I paid $375 (include S/H) with "buy now" option. Not the cheapest, but I like to have a new one just for that 1 yr warranty

I believe T-mo is doing $279 for 2 yr extension or $499 w/o.

Amazon is offering the 87oog for $50 with a $50 mail in rebate for 2yr contract.

Buy one from T-Mo for retail without a contract and they will unlock it for you.
