What is the latest and greatest firmware for the W810i?
After a by-mail exchange, and the help of a Cingular store employee last night, I have finally gotten a phone that has at least an acceptable earpiece volume. One that I can at least live with until a program (FAR?) comes along to fix our CID49 phones. I have been suprised that this phone is significantly louder than the two W810i's I have had previously.
My "keeper" phone has the R4EA031 Cingular US firmware version. Is this something different than the "first batch" came with, or is there just a standardization problem with this phone?
