Hey everyone,

I just bought a V3 brand new unlocked, which I believe was from China as it has the characters on it and manuals and such. It had a link on a thing to go to www.motorola.com.hk/eng/motoupdate to download the latest update to the phone which I did. It said there was one, backed up my data, and installed it. Everything works fine, except on my home screen the left soft key used to say Camera, now it says "SetupHome." When I press it it says, Still loading...

Then if I go to settings, personalize, and home screen, it says Please try later. Home screen still loading....

I've restarted it a few times, left it overnight, same thing. Has anyone heard of this or am I just doing something wrong? Thanks so much!

I was having this same problem yesterday after doing an update - fix it through fluke. You've got to do another update, though it won't let you at first since it thinks you already have the most recent firmware. Startup into the bootloader (turn off, then turn on by pressing * # and power together), and it will flash it again.

Great thanks, actually fixed it just by downloading one of the monster packs and flashing it with that. Was a pain because it's the V3r but working good now, thakns!
