Sony Ericsson Z500a connect to my computer - USB data cable question

I have a z500a that I am trying to tether to my computer to use the internet. I have a data cable but no files. I have searched the forums but couldn't find any help.
What files do I need to download?
I tried downloading a file for the dcu-11 data cable from sony but couldn't get windows to work with it. It keeps saying that no files were found even though I unziped and told windows where to look.
Can you give me a step by step on how to get it to recognize the phone and then also tether?
I have downloaded the cingular communication program...
I also have a w600i that I did this for and it works fine,, but its been about 6-7 months and I forgot how to get it working.
