Hello all,
I have a moto razr v3 and I have a cable (one thats for a camera). I have gottin to charge my phone, but is there a way that I can have it send data through or do I need a data cable for that ?

question 2 what Is the usb mini cable?

question 3 Is a razr v3 the same as a razr v3r?

I was actually wondering the same thing. I just got a V3m last night and I have a USB cable from an Olympus D-540 camera, which (as far as I know) conforms to the MiniUSB connector standard. But... Does the V3m conform to the same standard, or is it like Xbox controllers, where they're electrically identical to USB, but the pins are in a different formfactor? Don't wanna blow up the phone.

I have a sync cable for my old Palm Tungsten E PDA, and it fits the mini-USB connector of my V195 (same connector as the V3 series). It does pass data properly. Hopefully, that means you can both use the cables you have too.

It should work for both.

The V3r has class 2 Bluetooth (as opposed to class 1) and adds street addresses to the phonebook, among other things.

thanks for answering a1b2c3d4e5, then i guess it must be the drivers i have that wont send data. Gonna try switching drivers.
