anyone else have an annoying squeaky noise coming from their main directional keypad on their phone w810i? i have this terrible noise everytime i press up, or left/up at the same time. its making me go crazy.

I have it but the clicking produced by the buttons being pressed is what driver me nuts.

Nope no creaking or squeaking ... only time I had some creak was from the battery cover, but all I did was place a VERY small piece of tape rolled up in the corner I heard the creak and now it's solid sounding! I use my D-pad all the time and never have any problems...

Haha maybe Cingular didn't piece the phone back together correctly...

I have this squeaking - I hope it goes away after a while as it is a bit annoying.

My hearing is not 100%, but I couldn't detect any squeaking in either the w810i I recently sold (used 1-week), or the one I just bought from a friend. Both phones are suprisingly solid and well-built IMO.

I had a w810i back in april or may and the d-pad squeaked like crazy. It had other problems too and I ended up returning it. But I got another one about a month ago and it doesn't squeak. I guess some do and some don't.

My D-pad did squeak some when I first got it and this is the unbranded one, but it went away after a few days. Now it is fine. Too much game playing.

yeah. i want to return mine but i bought from an authorized dealer and they only have a 7 day return policy. it sucks. so i tried going online to do an XBM claim but cingular couldnt find the IMEI number, it is branded cingular. maybe its just too early to do an XBM on this phone?
