I have an unlocked/unbranded SE z710i coming soon, and I am curious as to what I have to do to make it compatible with Cingular service. With my V635, all I did was slide my SIM into the phone, and it worked great!

I read on the Cingular forums, that a guy got the z710i and couldn't use it because it requested his PUK (PIN) code in order to use the phone. I truly have no idea what mine is. Do I need to call Cingular CS and get it so I won't lock my SIM or something similar?

No PUK code needed. All you need to do is put your SIM in and it will work fine. Then send the MMS/WAP settings from the SE Support website. Done.|

I just got my Z710i about an hour ago from x1387(ordered Wednesday evening,shipped from HK

)
So far great phone, I just put my SIM in and turned it on, it asked if I wanted download WAP and MMS settings, I clicked "Yes" and everything is good to go!!! Edge seems really fast compared to my 3125 and at least equal to my cu500(fastest EDGE phone I've had so far)
