S710a + hex editor = accepts pro duo?

Someone told me that his S710a accepts 1gb pro duos. I asked him how he did it, and he said that he reprogrammed the phone with hex editor. I'm going to get a 2nd S710a to try it out and see if it works.
I'm just wondering if anyone has tried this before.

Hotness, I'd definetely would like to know how that works. I have s700 and it's got me buggin that i could only put a 128 MS Duo in it.
