How to configure Opera on V551 ??

I loaded the Opera mini browser onto my V551 using P2K tools. When Opera opens, it asks about a connection, then tries to make one. It can't seem to connect. The phone can connect using its native browser. How do I configure Opera to work, there doesn't seem to be any way to change anything ?? I'm using Cingular pay as you go plan. Thanks.
