I have a friend with an updated mpx220, my question is does anybody think you can copy and beam or bluetooth the rom update to my phone. if so, does anybody know where on the phone the file is?

I don't think you can beam or update through bluetooth. I think for firmware upgrading, you can only use the data cable. For seem editing, you have to use a cable...it doesn't seem to work with bluetooth
