I'm so gonna break 2000 posts today I had 1946 posts when I started to day, and now this is 1989 I'm being such a post whore today!

Posted by: Dave Evans

Today? j/k

I can't be far behind. Arguing with retards has that effect.

Posted by: Ishimaru

So I found out the other day, that I have a weak heart (not joking, being serious). Apparently when my heart beats, it only produces 45%, where as a normal person, would have 55% or more. So they're thinking this is what's causing my breathing problems, and also my laziness (yeah yeah laugh it up, but it's true, less oxygen my body gets, the less energy I have). So I have to go through some more tests to find out more; but I really hope I don't have to go through surgery I've had my breathing problem for over 10 years now, so it's not like it's life threatening, but it's still something major that could turn life threatening.

Posted by: JwY

sorry to hear that. are you overweight?

i'm making an early congrates to you mr. postwhore.

Posted by: Ishimaru

I'm not really overweight, but I've been like this for 10 years now, and I've only been a bit overweight for about 2 years now. So that's not the cause of it.

*edit*
Two more till 2000

Posted by: Dave Evans

Holy smokes!

Dude, I hope the tests come back ok. Good luck, best wishes, and all that.

Posted by: Ishimaru

Well officially, I'm 225, and 6'1". So honestly, I'm not really overweight at all. Now that you know all these personal things about me, would you like my PIN and credit card numbers too??

w00t 2000 posts Now I'll stop post whoring for now

I probably slept a total of 3 hours last night.

Sorry Jedi I know you have a breathing problem I guess I should be thankful it's not all the time. Although I seem to get sick like 4-5 times a year. Pissing me off already. Need to move to a warmer climate.

Good news though. Jaq3 on the way! w00t!

Need some of that.

I have to tell you of all the warm places I've been in my life the best beach and water was in Cancun Mex. Here's some pics I took believe it or not. The last one is from the plane out(obviously).

Hey Neo how are you liking the Trinity?

Posted by: neo001

I love it !! I absolutely positebility love it !! although I have not bought a MiniSD card for it , so I have not installed much , only WA , WAD and that is it . . . and about Cancun yeap its breathtaking , although I do not like to go to the beach much , see I have a whole bunch of tatoos and people are always staring

Posted by: Dave Evans

SHUT UP....in advance.

Posted by: mikewchandler

I love a little snow......we only get a good snow here every couple years.

Posted by: Dave Evans

I'll gladly send you some, Mike. A few weeks ago we got 3 feet in one night.

Shoveling snow....bad

Sitting on the beach drinking Tequila....good

Looking at Neo's tattoos......scary

Posted by: mikewchandler

thanks for the offer but we got 3 inches a few weeks ago... perfect (and no tatoos to look at)

Posted by: neo001

hehehe Hey Smart I love snow , if it was up to me I will live in a place when it will always be snowing , I just love cold weather seriously , hey Mike want me so send you a picture

Posted by: juiceppc

Hey Mike what over the counter stuff works best for a cold/sinus congestion? Or any secret remedies?

I've been taking the CVS version of Claritin in combination with Nasonex. Works so so.

Since we're talking about medical conditions I think I'm going to have a Polypectomy. Doc said they're pretty big but doesn't seem to want to jump to surgery but I'm getting fed up.

Posted by: mikewchandler

what you're on sounds more like an allergy regimen vs a cold/viral infection? if so, that's a pretty good start.

if not, you need a decongestant (ie phenylephrine or pseudoephedrine) to take as needed a few times a day to help with congestion.

Are you having drainage? congestion? fever? watery eyes? what exact symptoms sir? if it gets too personal, feel free to pm or email (mikewchandler AT yahoo DOT com)

Posted by: futuredoc

Juice, with your polyps, whatever you do is not going to be enough. Only way for you to breathe easy is to get them resected. I don't know why your doc wants you to wait but you better get a second opinion just incase.

Posted by: mikewchandler

yeah....as a pharmacist, I can't really give a good opinion on the polyps....but if you need any help with meds, let me know (not freebies btw....just advice).

so I am curious, why Blu-Ray over HD-DVD? I have been thinking of getting one or the other but I am thinking I might wait until the "standard" gets flushed out.

Posted by: Ishimaru

Blu-Ray because of the amount of movies that are available for Blu-Ray, and the number of studios behind Blu-Ray (Sony, Fox, Disney, amongst others). HD-DVD has Universal, and Weinstein as exclusives. Big whoop! I think Blu-Ray is here to stay, and HD-DVD is on the out. I have the 360 HD-DVD add-on, but only for 3 movies (Equilibrium, Batman Begins, The Chronicles of Riddick). I don't see myself buying another HD-DVD again.

wingwomen.com provides a dating service of a different kind: You get to take out a woman on a date and she will attempt to mingle with other women and introduce you to them. They seem to have great write-ups from the press! Your thoughts?

I remember being "wingman" for some buddies during Uni. Not exactly my fav position to be, but the experience was always great as a conversation piece

I have been married for 13 years now (01/06/2004) and I am 31 years old !! I have a 16 year old , a 13 year old , an 11 year old and my princess she is 4 going to be 5 on June 20 , by the way my birthday is on June 18 (all phones are accepted except Treo of course) I have two with my wife (the 11 year old and my princess) and oh boy did I got around

DJ dont worry , there are 8 women for every man , and if you count the ones that those dudes that dont like women leave alone , you got yourself a whole bunch of them , hey maybe you are better off like that for now always remember to look real close at your horizon , if God closes the door . . . he leaves a window open

p.s. Dont forget that there are 2 kinds of women those that like to get busy and those that are dead

Posted by: Evaluator

DJ: I bumbled around and then got really lucky when I ended up with a woman who is far better than I, but here is what I should have known from the beginning…

1. Finish all your education before you get serious about a relationship. Going to school while married is a drag on everyone involved.
2. Also get a good job before getting married. Economic stress is the #1 cause of divorces.
3. Only consider a woman who is more mature than you and who has more emotional strength than you. This won’t eliminate many women because most guys fall short in this regard.
4. Find a woman who is capable of leading the family. A family’s heart resides in its wife/mother.
5. Make sure you are both on the same wavelength. Expect trouble if you have wide differences in your goals, ideologies and religious preferences.
6. Watch how she uses money. Run away if she has a purse by Prada and shoes by Gucci but can’t afford them. If she can afford them but you can’t, this is also a negative strike.
7. Observe carefully how her mother behaves because that can be an predictor of how your mate will conduct herself within your family.
8. Place beauty at the bottom of your list of priorities. It’s nice if a woman is beautiful but a pretty face can mask the soul of a devil.
9. Once you settle on a mate never ever look romantically at another woman. Your wife is the queen of your world.
10. Build a nest before the eggs arrive. The children in your future deserve a stable home and a well-stocked table. Pea-brained birds get this right every time but 3-lb brained humans fail this about half the time.

Posted by: Dave Evans

.................or, drink like a fish. Party like an animal. Have a great time while you can.....Just do it!.....she'll pull you out of the gutter later. Worked for me.

Posted by: aquinon

Dude, there is no rush. Have fun, take your time.

Nothing is less attractive to women than an emanating sense of desperation. Conversely, calm, cool, collected is very attractive. So, do what you need to to take full control of your life, health and career. You will be able to be choosy. The right woman will find you along your path.

I'm very happy for the happily married guys here, but I'm in no hurry to join them.

Posted by: Evaluator

Yes, aquinon has the right idea. At 23 you’ve got time to get your life in order and desperation is an effective woman-repellant. I’m just less optimistic about trusting serendipity to find you the right mate. In the US the divorce rate is high and the percentage of married couples has been declining for decades. The last thing you want to do is find the wrong girl and then end up paying child support while your children grow up in a broken home.

Sabesh mentioned using a dating service and I agree 100%. Internet dating services are just a modern manifestation of a technique has been used in old-world countries for hundreds of years. When you’re ready to commit the rest of your life to the right girl a good service can increase the chances of success by matching you to someone with a compatible personality, similar goals and educational background.

Dang! I’ve got to silly-up this thread some more.

I have really been thinking about this and I want to meet you guys , but I guess its easier for you guys to come over here than to me go over there right ?? is anybody coming this way soon ?? how about some margaritas in Rosarito beach ?? or some Tacos de pescado (fish tacos) in Ensenada ??

Seriously if anybody is coming this way please let me know ok ?? will love to meet my fellow geek phoneaholics

Posted by: aquinon

Is this one of those round robin interviews where they keep you for 4 hours or are you out? Did you stun them with bs, I mean, your knowledge and poise??

Either way, good luck!

wooow that sucks dude !! but you know what maybe you are better off that way , no hot chicks in that building I checked
And about Breakfast do what I do , I get myself a box of chickenbakes in COSTCO and pop one in the microwave each morning , I love chickenbakes !!

Posted by: Dave Evans

DJ, I'm sorry to hear you didn't get the job. Job hunting ain't fun. I know. I've done my share of it over the years, and now find myself looking for a new job, something I haven't done in 20 years. My business of the past 10 years is very tied to tourism here in Canada and that industry had been completely crushed since 9/11.

Don't get too down. You are young, and intelligent, and have a job at the moment. The right thing will come along in time.....and the chicks will be hot!

@Neo

Thanks for the nomination but I'm a bit busy at the moment. We could find candidates with a poll-thread like this:

Would you be willing to be neo's underwear?
a) Yes, absolutely!
b) I'd be willing to consider it.
c) Depends on what he had for breakfast.
d) Yes, if it's a paid position.
e) Only if you give me Ketamine beforehand.
f) Only if you give me cyanide beforehand.

Posted by: Dave Evans

LOL.....I'd hate to see what you could come up with a .gif for this.

Posted by: neo001

LMFAO . . . C'mon guys , that is nothing you should see when I have some bean and cheese burritos

And C'mon that is just a picture I found on the Internet , it is not my breakfast , I had a chicken bake at 6 a.m. and a Steak and fries at 11 , dont know what I am going to have for dinner , as I only eat twice a day , but I can assure you my underwear is not going to like it

If anybody is up for the nomination , I will send a recently used boxer briefs in a ziploc bag to assure quality and that burrito smell if you are looking for something a bit stronger , let me know so I can have some boiled eggs , chorizo (Dave look it up in the internet) , and of course some refried beans , oh and I will not change my underwear for two days , it will be sent on request

LOL You guys are too much

I'm thinking about selling my Uni, and buying a SonyEricsson K790a as a second phone. I really love the Uni, BUT I only find myself using it for A2DP. Brand new, I can get the K790 for only $400. I miss those days of spending JUST $400 on a phone. Now a days, it's AT LEAST $650 or more!!1

Hey my Son has that phone !! it takes great pictures , he loves it , only drawback that I can think of its the price of the memory cards

p.s. Will you also like a pair of boxer briefs , with its original taste and odor in them ?? I can overnight them to you

lol, at least you don't wear tighty whiteys...

Posted by: Ishimaru

So I bought the K790a from Amazon for $385, and with Prime, I got Saturday delivery for only $4.99 I'm gonna sell my Uni! I really like the device, but without internet, phone, etc...I really only use it for A2DP. I'm gonna sell it for $400, if anyone is interested, let me know, or I will put a post in the B/S/T forum.

Posted by: neo001

You really gonna like that phone , especially the pictures it takes , like I said my son has it , and he uses most of the time as an mp3 player , since they do not allow Ipods in his school (he goes to a catholic institute) it also has A2DP and you can also get this :

Wow, the weather is really nasty in New York City tonight! Ice, freezing rain, sleet, snow, 26 degrees Fahrenheit -- the works. And all at once!

If you're home tonight (and hopefully you are, or at least somewhere warm), check out the Times Square webcam to see what you're missing!

Looks like home, just a few more lights.

Posted by: Evaluator

You’re right it does look like nasty weather. Even so with a warm coat and a good umbrella I’d love to be there to catch a show, eat a late dinner, go to a nice jazz bar for a gin and tonic or 3, sleep late in a nearby hotel room…

It was 80+F here today. I'll gladly trade you that weather

Posted by: neo001

So I guess you do not really care for my suggestions or comments about your new phone huh ?? oh well . . . congrats on the new device anyways

Posted by: Ishimaru

LOL today was ridiculously busy for me, so I haven't gotten around to responding to you .

I really want to use this as a second phone, something I can take out with me, and a MUCH better camera than my TyTN. That watch seems quite interesting, I'll have to look more into it. I really miss SonyEricsson phones, and I miss not having to pay more than $400 for a device, MAN do I miss that. I'm getting tired of paying $600+ for a phone...

And Neo, I DO care about what you say

Thanks . . . I was beggining to worry , I suggested the watch because I know you work on an office and in today busy schedule , sometimes you are in a meeting and nothing is easier than take a look at your wrist and find out how many mails , sms , or calls do you have do check it out , its not cheap , although I have seen some in Ebay for a better price than in Sonyericsson.com

Posted by: Ishimaru

Yikes...4 hundy. Might have to think about that one.

WOW, I absolutely LOOOOVE the K790! For a basic, regular phone, this thing just kicks ***! If I could get Exchange Push E-mail, and my calendar on the 790, I'd switch in a second! It's small, the camera is just fantastic, and it's a great phone. I used it this whole weekend, and I just love it. I had a hard time switching back to my TyTN this morning, but I need my push e-mail and my calendar, so I had to switch

This post has far too much in particular to say, and is painfully ON topic.

DJ, please stay off topic, and don't make statements that make any kind of sense......sheesh....

Dave

So sorry Dave, it will NEVER happen again...
