w810 vs HTC Star Trek 3125

I have had a Sony Ericsson w600 and have been very happy with it. But I would like to upgrade to a phone with a memory card option because lets be real 256 MB for my music needs just doesn't cut it lol. I was looking into the w810 since I am a big Sony Ericsson fan but there are a few apps and features that spark my interest in HTC Star Trek 3125 . One of my big concerns is that I have always been able to tether my laptop to my SE's using Media Net on those days when opera mini just wont do. Can that be done with the HTC Star Trek 3125 using the unlimited PDA connect? What other trade off am I looking at?

You can definitely tether with the 3125. Probably the biggest thing you'll be losing is the 2mp camera. The 1.3mp camera on the 3125 just isn't that nice.
but if the camera isn't important go with the smartphone, it lets you do so much more. Check out my site for a review.
