I am a Rogers Subscriber in Canada. The phone is a RAZR V3i. The original RAZR had to be replaced becuase of a defective earpiece. The built in email client in the message center worked perfectly on the first phone. I did not have to open the MYMAIL java program to retrieve my messages. I need the settings and more importantly where to type them in. I have already had the phone re-flashed. It did not help. I have had Rogers re-send the settings to the phone. It did not help. I think I have the correct settings from the dealer. But I do not know where to insert them.

The built-in email client in the message center makes like it is checking the email account, but it always comes back as no new e-mails; even when I know that there are new ones.

Text Messaging and MMS messaging work perfectly. It is just a hassle to have to open the Java MYMAIL each and every time I want to check emails.
The Java MYMAIL works perfectly as well. I even get the text message notices that there is a new email. But to get the actual email, I have to open the java MYMAIL.

Help, Please.

Why don't you just go Menu -> Messages instead of a Java midlet?

Thank you for your post. I have since discovered another thread in this forum and I realized that the ISP and Account settings were incorrect even though i had the phone re-flashed. I entered them manually. The built-in email client (i.e. menu then messages) works now.
