I've currently have a SLVR with the Euro bootloader. I've been having problems with the thing constantly rebooting and am looking to try and flash to a flex on a different bootloader. I haven't been around here for awhile, is there anything I can do to change my bootloader or any places for very recent flexes?

you need to testpoint the phone in order to change the bootloader ... but in you'r case it's not the bootloader that give's you all this trouble it's the flash or probably the flex i recomend installing an MP ..mine ( when it's done ) or yuet's

You wont need to testpoint anything. testpoint isnt needed. the phone either has a 8.D0 or a A.20 bootloader. either way they CANT be changed. just flash it but make sure it is the correct MP to fit the correct phone model.

A.20= Cingular SLVR L7
8.D0= Unbranded Models

YOU'r wrong ... the bootloader can be changed .... but you have to make a TESTPOINT on the phone

I know what testpoint is. but what bootloader would you change it to? A.20 which hasnt ever been extracted??? i know all about this stuff i do testpoint to unlock all the latest phones. A.20 is repairabe i guess Ultimabox got the bootloader but they are the only one with the access to the bootloader.

u can replace it with an older version of bootloader... but still you can replace it ... SLVR is just like a v360 -very few diferences

well theres no point because there isnt any other bootloader for the L7. either 8.D0 or
A.20 all itunes model ive seen unbranded or branded has been A.20

can't argue with you on that ... but the thing is that it's posible to change the bootloader

... by the way does a firmware desinged for 0A.20 work on a 08D0 ??? and if it does ... do you know a download link for the ACR firmware for L7 ???

I know the download link for the ACR firmware. the bootloader for A.20 is the itunes SW from cingular IT WILL NOT work for the 8.D0 phones

I flashed to the yuet MP - problem persists. the phone will randomly reboot and will display a "please wait" message when I try to do anything on it.
