I am having trouble installing games on my v3x. I found a guide that said that the phone had to be accessed like a usb drive, but when I plug the usb cable in, though it shows a removable drive, when I click on it it says to insert a disk into that drive, and so won't open. I also tried transferring the files via bluetooth from a friend's laptop, but that didn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

first install the drivers for the v3x. then instal a p2kcommander. then open the mobile/kjava directory via the p2kcommander
now you can transfer the jar files via the p2kcommander

That doesn't seem to work. It won't detect the phone in p2kcommander.

I have also tried p2ktools and that does not work. Would someone please be able to outline the steps in detail that they have used to successfully transfer games to their mobile so that I can see if I have missed a step along the way?

im not familiar with the v3x but if its anything like the v3i, there should be an option under connection > usb > data/fax connection memory card. switch it to data/fax. it should then detect the phone and instal the drivers.
