Recent calls list all funky

I don't know what happened, but after messing around with his phone, my hubby managed to mess up his recent calls list. Now everytime you go to check missed calls, incoming calls or outgoing calls, all the lists are filled with the same number, which ever number called last. If you try to view all calls it says that there are no calls stored.

Any ideas on what could have caused this? If anybody knows which file controls the recent calls list please let me know and I will restore it with the original backup I made prior to altering anything on the phone.
