I too am in the market for a new phone with Verizon Wireless

I live on a wired campus so I have free wifi, so the i730 smartphone would let me utilize the connectedness of my campus better than the KRZR. But is it worth it to sacrifice the size, and style of the krzr?

Your honest votes would be greatly appreciated...thank you!

Are you stuck with only Verizon?

OK no problem....

I would definiately go with the Samsung sch-i730. Slam dunk easy answer.

CNET gave it high marks and CNET is very critical. CNET Review

Personally I have an unlocked K1, but my friend has the K1m and he's trying to get out of his contract because of the locked down VZN settings.

Plus the samsung has the wifi, to me it's a no-brainer, if I was in a contract with VZN.

Best of Luck on your decision!

im going to switch to verizon, so when you talking about getting the i730 would it be worth it if you dont get the data plan and just use it as a phone with wifi
