V3M not working please help

Preface: I googled my problem, and found that others had the same problem I do. Though I was not able to find any type of solution.

Problem: None of my keys other than the on/off red key will do anything at all. The power button will turn the phone on and off and turn the backlight and screen on, but other then that not a single other button will do anything. I have tried restarting numerous times....I have taken the battery out while the phone was both on and off.....I've left it charging for a really long time. The phone started doing this two nights ago, started working for a couple hours, then stopped again, and then did it all again another time. The phone also turns the speakerphone option on totally by itself.

I'm now trying to let the battery die and then charge it back up and see what happens. This is really troublesome to me because I've only had the phone since the end of June, 2006.

If anyone can help me at all please please let me know. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem. I have a couple more keys that work but out of no where they stopped working. It's not wet or anything. It was working one minute and the next it wasn't. I do find that about once a day I get 10 seconds of all the keys working.

You should probably try to get a replacement. It sounds like your phone is defective.

I had a similar problem with my v3c. The center circle button, 5, and 0 buttons stopped working all of a sudden. Since they are the buttons right down the middle, USCell took it apart and said there had been moisture in it even though I've never directly exposed my phone to any.
I've come to find out that moisture occurs naturally in the atmosphere and generally any Razr should not be used outside of a pressurized, climate controlled environment. Basically, they suck.

Could they fix it if you payed for it?

I just went out and got a KRZR to replace my RAZR. I also purchased insurance.
