i could play them by going into menu but they are not ringing when somebody calls me. i have set it to loud but it's not working.

did you remember to delete those two .db files in the a:\mobile\audio folder?? then restart??

I'm having a similar issue. I just got the Krzr Km1 From verison wireless. I had problems getting MPT to work, and I followed a few suggestions on the forums here and was able to connect. I'm only able to connect using bluetooth however... and when I transfer ringtones it says it transfered to the phone, but they are no where on my phone... So I downloaded and us P2k and that seemed to get things going.

I put the mp3 I wanted for my ringtone in the ringtone folder, deleted the .db file, reset my phone, and that ringtone showed up with the option of being able to select the ringtone.

Now I run in to the issue that when I get calls, nothing plays. I can hear the ringtone through the menu, but not when I check the volume (it gives you an option to hear the sound at whatever volume you select)it doesn't play, or when anyone calls. This is becoming a huge frustration, and although I like how the phone looks, the customizing is a pain. Anyone know how to solve this ringtone issue?

i deleted the 2 .db files and restarted. i can play the mp3 on the phone, but nothing plays whenever somebody calls me, be it an .mp3 or a .mid file. How can i fix this problem?

Funny thing my issue is that the everything works except that the custom contact ID ringers do not. Any Ideas?

Any help with this problem? I have the same thing happening to my Alltel KRZR. I haven' deleted anything just loaded some custom ringtones for my contacts about 4 months ago and they worked fine until yesterday. Now I get no sound when someone calls or texts unless I have one of the factory tones set for that person. None of my custom tones work.
