Cingular 2125 cant make calls

I just got a Cingular 2125....

I can recieve phone calls but I cant make any. I can only call Cingular customers. Can someone help me out here? I didnt have this problem with my Nokia 6620.

you might need to swap it for a new phone. the first 2125 i had was almost unusable with it locking up, i have a feeling they might have some lemons floating around out there. the 2nd one i have is working great, had it a week and only had to reboot it once, but thats because of user errors
