L7 / iTunes headaches

I just got a L7 last Friday. I was able to get songs loaded on it and everything was fine using the Cingular supplied version of iTunes. Well Sunday I was going to remove some songs and put others on from a different Library. I plugged in the SLVR, iTunes (newest version) found the SLVR. It told me that it had a different library on it so I said yes and blew the current one away. When I went to put my new songs on it it told me that it was not accessible. Now I can't get iTunes to recognize the the SLVR no matter what PC or version of iTunes I try. When I plug the phone in, iTunes opens on the PC but the SLVR never shows up on the left side window.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I got it fixed, here is the solution if anyone else has this problem.

I pulled the battery from the phone and let it sit for a little bit. When I plugged it back in I got an error that said "iTunes cannot read the contents of the phone." I used Windows Explorer to delete the whole iTunes folder off the the SLVR. Next, I unplugged the phone and plugged it back in. Then I was able to copy over the new iTunes Library.
