telus v3c vs. alltel v3c

I was just wondering if there are any differences between the carriers phones. What I mean is does the alltel v3c have more features built in than the telus v3c? Or are they just the exact same and have identical software. Im asking this because I found the Telus V3C filsesystem and the alltel v3c filesystem and im not sure which one to load onto my flashed v3c...and one more question..I noticed on my v3c in the media gallery there is an icon that says "themes" but when I open it it is empty. Is there a way to load the themes onto the phone?

oh ok..so is there any way to load on java or am I stuck with brew..I bought the phone with verizon so I know i cant get BREW off.
