Changing External LCD on V3c

I just changed my external LCD on my razr v3c (verizon wireless carrier). I switched it to a different pic when it's opened, but when it's closed it still has that ugly plain red background.

That happened when I updated the firmware(or whatever it's called) because verizon told me I had to.

Is there anyway to get rid of this background being red when my phone is closed or am I stuck with it?

I have progs like bitpim, pst programmer that I used to change the LCD display for when it's opened.

was lookin around this forum for a bit, saw people discussing stuff like this so it doesn't seem like this post has anything against the rules in it...

Ok...

On the USCC V3c I want to know how to change the outside LCD image. I have been through every file on my phone and see nothing that would look like the stock moto gif that is there.

I have read that all the verzion V3X there is a gif file that the image is kept. This is not so with the USCC V3c.

Any help would be greatly usefull.
