I'm looking for a new phone to replace my V3i. I text, email, and IM a lot from my phone but I do not want to buy a blackberry. I want a qwerty keyboard. I was thinking of buying a Sidekick 3, but I've heard bad stuff about the new keyboard. My service is through Tmobile. I'd like the phone to have an MP3 player, but that's not something that is make or break. Mostly I want to be able to IM. suggestions?

for your wishes, the SK3 is definitley the best phone.it is expensive but well worth it!

I don't really like blackberrys either, but the pearl is an exception because of all the mainstream functionality like camera, mp3 and a memory slot. I haven't heard too many horror stories about the SK3's keyboard, but I say go see for yourself at a T-Mo shop. Pop in your sim and start texting away. If it doesn't work out for you the SK2 is probably a bargain by now.

Pesonally if I'm going to go full QWERTY, i'd go for the MDA because of all the windows mobile functionality, large screen, stylus and WiFi.
