8125 Keyboard defaults to CAPS, cant get it off!

Hi everyone,

Everytime I slide the 8125 keyboard out, it defaults to having CAPS on.

I can go back to lowercase when I hit shift twice and all is fine. If I shut the keyboard & open it again, its back to CAPS.

Any ideas?

That is really strange. Has this happened from day one, or did this suddenly start happening? If it has always been this way, I would think it's just defective and probably look at a warranty replacement. If it happened after working normally, I would look at changes made to the device ie. new apps loaded, any registry changes, etc.

I have made several registry changes but this did happen to me one time. After I did a soft reset, by holding down top button to power off and then waiting 30 secs after off and turning back on, things have worked ever since. Soft-reset thru hole on side never fixed problem so soft-reset the way I said.
