I'm looking for a new phone that will combine the parts of my pda and current phone without the features I don't want. I have killed two phones due to use, I'm rough on technology, and don't want anything too big, ie pda size, to carry around. I would like a flip style phone that would connect with my computer and sync with MS Outlook but I don't want my email following me around all of the time. Does such a product exist or will I have to deal with the email and not pay for the data access with Verizon. I'm not switching carriers but need a phone, new or used, that will allow me to carry some pda data (specifically calander) synced with my laptop.

except for the flip, and that it receives e-mail,the Motorola ! is perfect for your needs.

Hmm, it's going to be tough if you are sticking with verizon because you have to get your phones though them. I'd say get the Q but I'm not sure you can get it without the corresponding data plan.

you probalby can get it with the data plan, just dont set up e-mail.
