Hi, I have my 3125 for about a month. I was able to connect to internet without any problems. In the last two days I am not able to update my Fizz Traveler (it starts updating ,then dysplays "unknown" and disconnects). And with IE, it just does not connect or gives me an error that my connection was remotely disconnected. Any ideas how to fix it?

Have you downloaded any other program recently that could have changed the settings?

Are you using the data cable while trying to connect?

Go to the Cingular site under support/phones and check that your settings match.

I know this sounds obvious but if you have not already, turn off the phone, remove the battery for about 30 seconds or longer, put back the battery and turn the phone back on. See if you get your connection back.

Well tried all that. It appeared that the signal was not strong enough. Even though my phone worked and I have 2 bars, it was not enough for IE. It got connection as soon as I got 4 bars.

I spent many days talking with support and they couldn't figure it out (did hard reset, check settings, etc.). Finally, they sent me another phone. It worked great for two days but now I can only get online sporadically. I have 4 bars and an "E" always.

Today, I haven't been able to get online at all. I removed the battery and still nothing. The settings are all right.

I'm about to call Cingular again to see if they have any other ideas. If not, I might have to look at that i607 a little closer.

EDIT: Just got off the phone with support again. They recommended that I exchange my sim card at a local store. I'll give that a try tonight.

UPDATE: Exchanged my Sim card on Friday and the problem seems to have gone away.
