I was attempting to change my Black housing over to the White housing i just recieved.

I managed to get the Front and back off with ease.
I then followed xmankinetic's guide to taking the hardware out.

I removed the keypad and lcd with ease. When trying to pop the board off i think i might have dmg the White Ribbon slightly (small tear on the side)

I then paniced and put it back together, IT runs but i want to know what that dmg'ed ribbon is going to do to my phone.

Also the new housing's LCD cover that sits on the outside of the phon wont stay on, How do i manage that?

is it the cable that goes through the pcb ? If so that's for the camera and light.
As to the front - it should just clip back into place. th retaining screws are under the
battery cover (no not the 2 holding the back on :-) )
