^^^Like the title says.. how can I do that?.. Do i need to get a special application or program or something?

There is a program called minitones. Some people dont like it, but I have never had any problems with it. It will take the mp3's from you SD card, then you can trim them and put them in your tones list. Or you can get something like Ringo PRO and just use the MP3's off of you card with out converting them.

There is the link to it. Minitones is free btw...

There are several third party applications which allow you to use Mp3 files as ringtones on the Treo 650.

Lightwav, Ringo, Mring are just a few that come to mind.

www.palmgear.com or www.google.com are your friends.

Minitones caused big problems with my phone, and I've helped several others whose phones it also messed up. It corrupts large tones, causing your phone to either not ring or crash when a call comes through.

I second minitones. It works great on my device with no issues at all

I like Ringo Pro, easy, cheap, and amazing! I like the added feature to add seperate ringo tones per person, its pretty kool!

I use minitones in conjunction with Ringo Pro...Makes a nice combo...

OK everyone...have an issue. I downloaded MiniTones and when I try to install it with the palmOne QuickInstall, my QuickInstall crashes. I am using Vista and have even downloaded an updated version of Palm Desktop...any ideas on how I can get MiniTones onto my phone?
