I just got my Dash and am trying to find applications for IM/Chat.

I am use to Agile Messenger for the Pocket PC, but the MS Smartphone Alpha is unable to connect to AIM or Yahoo. IM+ was able to connect, but I was unable to send messages (it could be because it is trialware).

Any other suggestions?

you can sign in to Yahoo! IM via their website and your browser, but I'm not sure if you get an alert for an IM, you may have to keep refreshing the web page.

I just used Agile Messenger with Yahoo the other day and it worked fine. Maybe you should reinstall and try again.

The new version of Agile Messanger works fine on my Q. I believe that it will work the same on HTC handsets with WM5 for Smartphones.

I have mine connecting to ICQ, Yahoo, and AIM.

Agile was too buggy for me. It wouldn't connect to AIM all the time, but for Yahoo it worked okay.

I reccomend iMov Messenger. You have to pay for it, but it connects everytime and isn't buggy at all.

Is iMov Messenger worth it? I'll get it if it works perfectly on a landscape qvga phone and doesnt have the annoying pust to talk feature like Agile that you cant disable.

It works perfectly on QVGA.. I have an i320. Worth the money. I'd change the annoying IM sound it comes with though.
